Barry D. Johnson, 73, of Clearfield died Sunday, March 2, 2014 at the Mountain Laurel Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. Mr. Johnson was born Sept. 2, 1940, the son of William and Lenora Heise.
He retired as a truck driver. He was Protestant by faith. He was a member of the Clearfield Aerie No. 812 Fraternal Order of Eagles.
Mr. Johnson is survived by six daughters, Kellie Johnson and her companion, Gary Duckett of Delaware; Brenda Titanski and her husband, Bill of Penfield; Bonnie Lang and her husband, Howard of South Carolina; Beverly Roberts and her husband, Ed and Barbara Piwowarczyk and her husband, Danny, both of Texas; and Zoanne Cook and her husband, Jeff of Ohio.
He is survived by seven grandchildren, Abby Johnson, Jennifer Titanski, Stanley Titanski, Brad Cook, Alex Cook, Ann Gonzales and Amanda Sweet; four great-grandchildren; a sister, Jeanie Heise of Clearfield; and a brother, William Heise and his wife, Sue of Woodland.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Linda; his wife, Rosalie; a son, Barry D. Johnson Jr.; and a brother, Martin Johnson.
Honoring Mr. Johnson’s wishes, there will be no visitation or services.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Nathaniel D. Yingling, M.D. Cancer Center, 815 Doctors Dr., Clearfield, PA 16830.
