David A. Billotte, 59, of Frenchville died Monday, Feb. 24, 2014 at the Clearfield Hospital.
He was born July 3, 1954 in Clearfield, a son of the late Edmund W. and Margaret Rhoda (Hess) Billotte.
Mr. Billotte was employed as a welder at Interfuse in Woodland. He was also an avid horseman and a member of Tom Mix Rangers for more than 20 years.
He is survived by his two children, Elaina Michelle Luzier and her husband, Michael of Clearfield and David A. Billotte II and his wife, Elizabeth of Frenchville; three grandchildren, Devon and Alaura Rowles and Grace Savanah Billotte; his former wife, Cindy Aughenbaugh Billotte of Clearfield; a sister, Carol Peeples and her husband, Bart of Maryland; five brothers, Edmund Billotte and his wife, Carol of Woodland and Keith Billotte, Ken Billotte and his wife, Sharon, William Billotte and his wife, Judy and Robert Billotte, all of Clearfield; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Delmont Billotte.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Kevin A Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield, with Sam Maines officiating. Burial will follow in the Gillingham Cemetery, Frenchville.
Friends will be received from 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to PA Equine Foundation for the Trail Stewardship Program, in memory of David Billotte, 6059 Allentown Blvd. #249, Harrisburg, PA 17112.
