Ralph ‘Ted’ Rosselli Sr., 87, of Clearfield died on Sunday, Feb. 23, 2014 at the Christ the King Manor, DuBois.
He was born Feb. 5, 1927, a son of the late Ernest and Mary (DeLappa) Rosselli.
Mr. Rosselli owned and operated Rosselli TV Sales in Clearfield from 1953 until 1984. He continued working in the business with his son until 2006.
He served with the U.S. Navy during World War II.
Following his time in the service, he graduated from Temple University.
He was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church, Clearfield. He was also a member of the Clearfield Sons of Italy Lodge and the Clearfield American Legion John Lewis Shade Post No. 6.
He is survived by two sons, Ernest Rosselli of Rockton and Ralph ‘Ted’ Rosselli Jr. and his wife, Yvonne (McDowell) Rosselli of DuBois; four grandchildren, Christy Albertson and her husband, Kevin, Chad Rosselli and his wife, Morgan, Angela Rosselli and Amy Gilga and her husband, Chris; five great-grandchildren; a sister, Alice ‘Dolly’ Centra of Clearfield; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Nickoletta R. (Fama) Rosselli on Sept. 30, 2008 and whom he wed Aug. 22, 1953 in St. Francis Church, Clearfield.
He was also preceded in death by four brothers, Robert, Anthony and John Rosselli and Ernest Rosselli Jr.; a step-sister, Mary Miller; and a step-brother, Joseph Rosselli.
A Mass of Christian burial will be said at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the St. Francis Catholic Church, Clearfield, with Msgr. H. Desmond McGee Jr. as celebrant. Burial will follow in the Calvary Cemetery, Clearfield.
Military honors will be accorded at the cemetery by the members of the Clearfield American Legion and VFW Posts Honor Guard.
Friends will be received from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Kevin A Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield.
