FOX TOWNSHIP – A fire significantly damaged a residence Sunday morning at 204 Dagus Mines Rd. in Fox Township. The fire has been ruled accidental, reported the state police at Ridgway.
The Pennsylvania State Police Fire Marshal and the Fox Township Fire Department investigated the origin and cause of the fire. The fire, state police said, significantly damaged a wooden-framed, two-story residence.
Three adults and five juveniles were asleep at the time of the fire. One resident woke up and found smoke inside the residence, which wasn’t equipped with any smoke detectors. All of the residents escaped without injury, state police said.
