STATE COLLEGE – A Winter Storm Watch is in effect from Tuesday evening through Wednesday evening, according to the National Weather Service in State College.
The Winter Storm Watch will affect central and north-central Pennsylvania with hazardous types of heavy snow. The NWS anticipates accumulations of more than six inches of snow.
Snow, the NWS stated, will begin late Tuesday evening and continue through early Wednesday afternoon. The Winter Storm Watch means there’s the potential for significant snow, sleet or ice accumulations that may impact travel.
