JEFFERSON COUNTY – A 19-year-old Falls Creek woman, Brianna M. Boboige, has been accused of burglarizing the Smithtown Community Church in Washington Township and multiple Falls Creek residences between 12:05 a.m. and 4 a.m. Friday in Jefferson County, reported the state police at DuBois.
During the alleged incidents, Boboige attempted to break into a residence. After that she entered a different resident’s garage and stole a 2006 Chevrolet truck that was red. Boboige proceeded to drive to the Smithtown Community Church, where the truck ended up getting stuck.
Boboige, state police said, entered the church by smashing a glass door; once inside she allegedly damaged numerous items before fleeing the scene. At that point, she entered another residence on the same street as the church. Inside that residence, Boboige encountered two people and fled into a wooded area nearby.
According to state police, Boboige proceeded to forcibly enter another residence, where she was observed in an upstairs bathroom. The resident escorted Boboige out and described her to state police as a Caucasian woman in her early 20’s.
Boboige was arrested and will be arraigned on charges of burglary, theft, criminal mischief and institutional vandalism.
