Cheryl Ann Fornwalt, 36, of Clearfield died Friday, Jan. 3, 2014 at her home.
She was born Jan. 3, 1978, the daughter of Thomas E. and Clara L. (Shively) Veres, of Morrisdale. Ms. Fornwalt was a graduate of the West Branch Area High School in the class of 1996.
She was employed as a hairdresser.
Ms. Fornwalt was Catholic by faith. She had attended the Trinity United Methodist Church of Clearfield.
She is survived by her parents; a son, Aaron T. Fornwalt of Clearfield; a brother, Steven E. Veres and his wife, Beverly of Houtzdale; two nephews, Charles and Douglas; a number of aunts, uncles and cousins; and her former husband, Charles Fornwalt of Hollidaysburg.
Ms. Fornwalt was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Lester W. and Amy Pearl Shively; her paternal grandparents, Edward P. Sr. and Annabelle Veres; and two uncles, Robert Veres and Max Shively.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be said at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the St. Severins Catholic Church, Drifting, with Father David Perry as celebrant. Burial will be in the St. Severins Cemetery.
Friends will be received from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Bennett and Houser Funeral Home Inc., Clearfield.
