Stanley B. Owens, 74, of DuBois died Thursday, Jan. 2, 2014 at the DuBois Regional Medical Center.
Born Aug. 6, 1939 in Lawrence Township, Clearfield, he was the son of the late Howard and Hollis (Richner) Owens.
He made his home with Donna Lockwood.
He was a member of the Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 5, working as an electrician for more than 30 years. He was also a member of the Clearfield Lodge 314 Free and Accepted Masons.
He had worked on his family farm in Clearfield for many years and enjoyed hunting and trapping.
He is survived by numerous children and grandchildren and two sisters, Cora Owens and Nancy Fletcher, both of Clearfield.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Dan Owens and one sister, Olive Martell.
There will be no visitation.
A memorial service will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
Burial will be in Owens Cemetery located in Lawrence Township, Clearfield County.
Memorials may be placed with any non-profit organization that benefits children.
