TYRONE – There is additional construction under way on the Tyrone Hospital campus. The medical office building, located at 175 Hospital Dr., is currently being expanded to accommodate future growth.
Work on the building, which is owned by Tyrone Hospital, is being completed by local contractor Jeff Long. Expansion of the medical office building follows the recent opening of the newly constructed Tyrone Health and Wellness Building on the hospital campus, which was completed summer of 2013.
The Health and Wellness Building is fully occupied and is home to several physician offices and the new Tyrone Fitness and Wellness Center. The building at 175 Hospital Dr. will provide an additional 4,000 square feet of medical office space to accommodate additional medical providers who wish to locate on the Tyrone Hospital campus.
