- An incident of theft occurred sometime Sunday or Monday on Buck Run Road in Girard Township. During the incident, someone entered the victim’s vehicle and removed a handgun.
State police at Philipsburg
- An incident of criminal mischief occurred Sunday on Orvis Beckwith Lane in Taylor Township. During the incident, one male entered another male’s garage and broke a battery charger and torch gauges. As a result, the second male threw a log at the first male’s pick-up truck, which dented its roof. The damage caused by both males is estimated at $450. Charges were filed through the district court.

- An incident of criminal mischief occurred Monday on Silver Creek Road in Ridgway Township. During the incident, the suspects threw ice/snow at the victim’s 2012 Toyota Tacoma. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact the state police at Ridgway at 814-776-6136 or the Elk County Crime Stoppers.
- Over a timeframe from Friday to Monday, a 22-year-old Kersey man contacted the victim via 50 text messages and five phone calls after being served a Protection from Abuse order. The man was taken into custody and placed in the Elk County Prison in lieu of $5,000 bail.
- An incident of retail theft occurred Monday at the Wal-Mart Supercenter in Fox Township. During the incident, a 25-year-old Dagus Mines man removed an X-Box-wired headset from the store that was valued at $19.99. The man was cited for retail theft.
- An incident of retail theft occurred Monday at the Wal-Mart Supercenter in Fox Township. During the incident, a 25-year-old Dagus Mines man removed two CDs from the store without paying for them. He was stopped by Wal-Mart personnel and detained until state police arrival. During a search of the man, state police found a small amount of marijuana in his pocket. The total amount of stolen items found on him was $59.92. Charges were filed through the district court.
