CLEARFIELD – Would you like to learn how to use your new camera to capture quality photographs instead of just snapshots?
You can understand how to use your camera settings . . . “ISO, Aperture, Shutter Speed, Exposure Value, Depth of Field, etc.” in a creative environment along with basic lighting concepts too.
On Jan. 8 and Jan. 15 at 6 p.m., the Market Street Gallery, located at 109 E. Market St. in downtown Clearfield, will host a series of Expressions21 camera classes led by professional photographer Lori Patrick.
For more information go to www.eventbrite.com/e/expressions21, call Lori Patrick at 814-913-1978 or go to facebook.com/marketstreetart.
Gallery owner Steve Albert said that space is limited and suggested making reservations now. The cost is $95 per student for two evenings of hands-on instruction.
You will need to bring your camera with its fully charged battery, manual and CF or SD card. After the series, you may want to attend a workshop for special skills for “Lighting, Editing, Fine Art, Portraits, etc.”
The Expressions21 Camera Club will be available for students past and present to get together for photo walks, Internet challenges, critiques and more.
