BENEZETTE TOWNSHIP – Minor injuries were reported after a single-vehicle accident Friday on the Quehanna Highway near Dents Branch Road in Benezette Township, reported the state police at Ridgway.
Anthony Demonte, 34, of Force was traveling east when his vehicle went onto the berm. Demonte attempted to regain control; however, his vehicle traveled across the roadway into the westbound lane.
The Demonte vehicle traveled off the roadway and then struck a concrete culvert. His vehicle traveled east into a ditch and came to a final rest. Demonte fled the scene and was later located at the DuBois Regional Medical Center.
