Dennis J. Nelson, 70, of Grassflat died Monday, Dec. 23, 2013 at the Mountain Laurel Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Clearfield.
Born May 10, 1943, he was the son of the late Erick G. Nelson and Helen Wick Nelson. Mr. Nelson was a member of the Mosquito Creek Sportsmen’s Club, Frenchville, and the Grassflat L.O.O.M. No. 941.
He’s survived by a sister, Laura J. McGovern of Morrisdale; a brother, Edwin E. Nelson and his wife, Dottie of Strongsville, Ohio; and eight nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Ruby Nelson and a brother, Kenneth Nelson.
There will be no public visitation; services will be held at the convenience of the family.
