CLEARFIELD – Trinity United Methodist Church, located at 121 S. Second St., in downtown Clearfield, invites the community to its Christmas services.
The first is a Christmas Eve EVE service at 7 p.m. Monday. Trinity started this unique service last year; this service is a traditional Christmas Eve service. However, it is held a day earlier to accommodate those who can’t attend worship on Christmas Eve for various reasons.
Because of this, Trinity invites people who might not be able to attend their home church to worship at Trinity. This service will include special music, carol singing, communion, singing “Silent Night” by candlelight and a special Christmas message.
The second is a Christmas Eve service at 7 p.m. Tuesday. This traditional Christmas Eve service includes special music, carol singing, communion, singing “Silent Night” by candlelight, a Christmas message and the Sunday school reenactment of the Christmas Story. The sidewalks around the church will also be lit by luminaries that have been sponsored in honor or in memory of loved ones by members of the church as a way of raising funds for the Youth Group.
All are welcome to attend either or both worship services at Trinity.
