John C. Twoey, 42, of Osceola Mills died Monday, Dec. 16, 2013 at Mount Nittany Medical Center in State College. He was the son of Iva Bush of West Decatur and the late James M. Twoey. He married Bridget D. (Condon) Twoey on May 16, 2009 in Clearfield. She survives him at home.
Mr. Twoey was of the Christian faith. He had worked at the former O.W. Houtz and Sons as a lumber manager in State College. He was a 1991 graduate of the Philipsburg-Osceola High School, and graduated from Triangle Tech in DuBois.
In addition to his father he was preceded in death by his god-parents, John and Freda Sankey, and his brother-in-law, Ronald Condon.
Along with his wife, he’s survived by a son, Gemini Twoey of Osceola Mills; two step-daughters, Kasey Condon and Katelyn Condon, both of Clearfield; a step-son, Brandon Condon of Osceola Mills; two sisters, Eleanor Dullen and her companion, Fred Dixon of Clearfield and Ollie Condon and her companion, William Albright of Osceola Mills; two brothers, James A. Twoey and his wife, Charlene of Philipsburg and Douglas D. Twoey and his wife, Joyce of Osceola Mills; three step-grandchildren; five nieces; and nine nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Heath Funeral Home in Osceola Mills, with the Rev. Timothy Richmond officiating. Burial will be at the Umbria Cemetery in Osceola Mills.
Friends will be received from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and from 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. Thursday and from 10 a.m. until time of the funeral service Friday at the funeral home.
