CLEARFIELD – The Clearfield Area United Way is very close to reaching its annual campaign goal.

Chairperson and Vice President Michele Fannin, along with other CAUW board members, recently braved frigid temperatures to ask residents in eastern, southern and central Clearfield County to help the United Way meet the upcoming-year’s obligations to 25 local member agencies.

Shown are CAUW President Ranea Brewer, Greg Dixon, Fannin, Martha Tylwalk, John Shimko, Second Vice President Mark Schultz and Brenda Terry. Missing from the photo are board members Dawn Aughenbaugh, Christa Aycock, Kay Dell’Antonio, Sarah Gula, Pastor Penney Rahm, Suzanne Rumfola, Dealyn Taylor and Brent Thomas.

“Reach out a hand to one and influence the condition of us all,” Brewer said, adding; “It’s not too late to help us, so we can help others.”

Contributions can be mailed to the Clearfield Area United Way, 18 N. Second St., P.O. Box 1430, Clearfield, PA 16830. PayPal can also be utilized at clearfieldareaunitedway.org.

Board members yelled to the area communities, “Thank You, Thank You, Thank You” after the photograph.
