STATE COLLEGE – The National Weather Service in State College has issued a winter storm warning that’s in effect from 5 p.m. today until 5 a.m. Saturday.
The winter storm warning is for heavy snow with accumulations of five to seven inches in the central mountains. The heaviest snow fall is expected this evening and overnight; dangerous travel conditions are expected to occur with snow and ice on roadways.
The Winter Weather Advisory isn’t any longer in effect.
