WOODWARD TOWNSHIP – The investigation is continuing into an aggravated assault incident that occurred Thursday at the State Correctional Institution at Houtzdale in Woodward Township, reported the state police at Clearfield today.
The incident, state police said, occurred in the treatment room at SCI Houtzdale. The victim who was identified as a staff doctor was attempting to leave the treatment room upon examining inmate, Kelly McCoy Gibson. The inmate allegedly kicked the victim in the leg and caused him to fall to the floor.
