DECATUR TOWNSHIP – The Philipsburg True Value Store was burglarized sometime between 9:30 p.m. Saturday and 8:15 a.m. Sunday in Decatur Township, reported the state police at Clearfield.
During the incident, the suspect(s) used a blunt instrument and forced open the rear door to the building. Once inside they went to a second-floor office and busted open a lock box, which contained four cash register drawers and removed them from the scene.
The suspect(s), state police said, removed an undetermined amount of cash from each drawer. They subsequently fled the scene after taking approximately $350 in U.S. Currency and also causing approximately $250 worth of damage to the building.
