BIGLER TOWNSHIP – A 24-year-old Brisbin man, Raymond A. Lansberry, sustained major injuries and was flown to the Altoona Trauma Center after a single-vehicle accident Friday on Belsena Road in Bigler Township, reported the state police at Clearfield.
Lansberry was traveling northbound when he failed to negotiate a left-hand curve. His vehicle subsequently crossed the southbound lane and struck an embankment. Then, the Lansberry vehicle continued along the embankment before overturning and coming to a rest on its roof.
Lansberry was flown to the Altoona Trauma Center; alcohol was a factor in the accident, state police said. State police were assisted at the scene by the Madera and Houtzdale/Ramey fire departments and Houtzdale/Ramey Emergency Medical Services.
