Jeff Tech held its annual National Technical Honor Society Induction ceremony on Oct. 29.
During the ceremony, a candle was lit for each of the 13 new inductees, as well as an official signing of the NTHS book. Miss Hannah Rummel, a second-year member was recognized for her outstanding achievements.
Gary Kahle, an account manager and technical salesperson for Matheson Gas, and a 25-year member of the Welding Advisory Committee at Jeff Tech, was the guest speaker. Kahle provided a touching account of his experiences in education and the workforce in relation to the achievement of the NTHS students.
He also expressed his admiration for the new NTHS members and appreciation for their hard work. In addition, Jeff Tech’s culinary students provided an assortment of refreshments for the event.
The administration, Joint Operating Committee and staff at Jeff Tech would like to congratulate the new NTHS Inductee.
