W. Elwood Turner, 93, of State College and formerly of Philipsburg, died Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2013 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the First Presbyterian Church, 509 Presqueisle St., Philipsburg, with military honors conducted by the Moshannon Valley Independent Honor Guard. Â Burial will be in the Philipsburg Cemetery.
Friends will be received from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. Friday at the David K. Dahlgren Funeral Home, 228 N. Centre St., Philipsburg, and from 10 a.m. until the hour of services Saturday at the church.
