State police at DuBois
- Minor injuries were reported after a single-vehicle accident Saturday on U.S. Route 219 in Snyder Township. John B. Bloom II, 18, of Brockport was traveling northbound when he lost control of his vehicle on the snow-covered roadway. His vehicle subsequently slid off the right berm and struck a fence. At that point, his vehicle slid into a large ditch and came to a rest. Bloom sustained minor injuries as a result of the accident. State police were assisted by the Brockway Borough police and the Brockway Volunteer Fire Department.
State police at Ridgway
- No injuries were reported after a single-vehicle accident Sunday on Toby Road in Fox Township. Zachariah T. Dornisch, 23, of St. Marys was traveling eastbound when he failed to negotiate a left-hand curve. He subsequently lost control of his vehicle and struck a ditch on the left berm. The Dornisch vehicle came to a rest along the westbound shoulder of Toby Road.
Lawrence Township
- Police received a report about a traffic hazard on Calvary Road. Further, someone parked a vehicle on the roadway; police spoke with the owner who moved the vehicle.
- Police assisted a disabled motorist along the Clearfield – Woodland Highway.
- Police received a report about a traffic violation at the Clearfield High School.
- Police received a report about an incident of harassment that occurred on Valley View Drive.
- Police responded to an accidentally activated alarm on Coal Hill Road.
- Police received a report about two individuals who were soliciting along state Route 879 and Supercenter Drive. The incident was handled at the scene.
- Police responded to an accident involving a deer on Coal Hill Road. No injuries were reported as a result of the accident.
- Police assisted the Clearfield County Sheriff’s Department with a warrant service.
- Police received a report about an incident of disorderly conduct at the Wal-Mart Supercenter. The incident was handled at the scene.
Curwensville Borough
- Police would like to remind motorists that parking is prohibited from 3 a.m. – 6 a.m. on State and Filbert streets.
DuBois City
- An incident of criminal trespass occurred Monday in the first block of East Washington Avenue. Further, a male allegedly walked into a residence and refused to leave. Police responded and apprehended the male; charges are currently pending at this time.
- Police received a report about a male who was threatening to shoot people Monday near North Clark Street. Upon arrival to the scene, he was still directing threats and causing a disturbance. Leslie Burlingame Sr., 58, was arrested and placed in the Clearfield County Jail.
- Police responded to a non-reportable accident Monday that involved two vehicles on Liberty Boulevard. Police collected information and provided both operators with accident information exchange paperwork.
- On Monday, police received a report about an incident of harassment on Parkway Drive. Further, a male told police he’s been getting harassed by a known individual and wanted to report it for future reference.
- On Monday, police received a report of theft from a motor vehicle in the first block of East Long Avenue. During the incident, someone stole an iPod from the vehicle. The incident remains under investigation at this time.
