HUSTON TOWNSHIP – Two people sustained moderate injuries after a single-vehicle accident that occurred Saturday on Mountain Run Road in Huston Township, reported the state police at DuBois.
Zane Drum, 19, of Penfield was traveling north in the right-hand lane. His vehicle traveled off the west berm of the roadway for unknown reasons. As a result, the undercarriage of his vehicle struck a culvert along the west berm.
Drum’s vehicle struck an embankment and overturned onto its passenger’s side. Then, his vehicle traveled 45 feet before coming to a rest on the roadway, facing east.
Both Drum and his passenger, a 17-year-old Sykesville boy, sustained moderate injuries. They were transported to the DuBois Regional Medical Center by ambulance, state police said.
