Isabelle M. Visosky, 89, of Ginter completed her life journey on Sunday, Nov. 17, 2013 at the Clearfield Hospital.
She was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church in Houtzdale. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Michael and Eglantine (Peteuil) Visosky. She is survived by her brother, John and his wife, Sally of Naples, Fla.
The first eight years of her education were in a two-room school in Ginter. After attending her first two years at Houtzdale High School, she transferred to Madera High School from which she graduated.
She then attended and graduated from Thompson Business College in Harrisburg. She was employed by the Muellers Macaroni Company. She subsequently worked at the Pennsylvania State Capitol in Harrisburg for many years continuing under several administrations because of her skills, including proofreading proposed and passed legislative bills.
She has one niece and four nephews, Michelle Donaldson and her husband, Gary and three children, who reside in San Jose, Calif.; Mark and his wife, Patricia and three children, who reside in Fairfax, VA; Jon and his wife, Christine, who reside on the Island of Guam in the Pacific; Steven and his wife, June and four children, who reside in Colorado Springs, CO; and Christopher and his wife, Ciara, who resides in Dublin, Ireland.
Friends will be received from 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. Thursday at the Kruise Funeral Home Inc. of Ramey.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at Christ the King Catholic Church, Houtzdale with Fr. Joseph P. Staszewski as celebrant. Burial will be in St. Lawrence Cemetery, Houtzdale.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Christ the King Catholic Church, 123 Good St., Houtzdale, PAÂ 16651.
