Madge Anita (Draisey) Wiseman, of Madera died Thursday, Nov. 14, 2013 at her residence.
She was born in Belsena Mills, a daughter of the late Thomas and Rosella (Wilkes) Draisey.
She was a 1940 graduate of the former Madera High School. She was a member of the Madera United Methodist Church, where she served as assistant organist and was past president of the United Methodist Women.
She was a homemaker. She was also a past matron of the Houtzdale Chapter of the Eastern Star and a member of the Order of the Amaranth, Osceola Mills.
On Sept. 25, 1941 in Winchester, VA, she married Thomas Wiseman, who preceded her in death on April 11, 2000.
She’s survived by two sons, Alan (Joan) Wiseman of Phoenix, AZ and Dean (Pam) Wiseman of Jacksonville, Fla. and a foster daughter, Mary Jane Egolf of Harrisburg.
She is also survived by five grandchildren, Tammy, Wendy, Alison, Jemma and Dane; numerous great- and great-great-grandchildren; four sisters, Virginia Clark of Avon Park, Fla.; Phebe (Don) Tubo of Niagara Falls, NY; Darlene Harper of Philipsburg; and Dorothy (Robert) Bryant of Webster, Fla.; two brothers, Bernard (Esther) Draisey of Harrisburg and Gene (Jeanne) Draisey of Johnstown; and a number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Calvin, Forrest and John Draisey.
Friends will be received from 3 p.m. – 6 p.m. Sunday and from 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. at the Kruise Funeral Home Inc., Madera.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the Kruise Funeral Home Inc., with Pastor John A. Johnson officiating.
