LAWRENCE TOWNSHIP – The Lawrence Township police took an assault suspect, Manuj “Glenn” McCoon of Maryland, into custody.
State police at Lamar contacted township police about McCoon, and officers went to Mill Hall to take him into custody. McCoon was wanted in connection with an assault that occurred on Oct. 23.
McCoon, according to police, allegedly assaulted a Clearfield female while at the Days Inn. McCoon was arraigned and housed at the Clearfield County Jail. His bail was set at $25,000 with his preliminary hearing being scheduled for Nov. 20 at the CCJ.
