Albert B. Clark, 84, of Munson died Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2013 at the Mount Nittany Medical Center, State College. Born Oct. 31, 1929 in Philipsburg, he was the son of the late Clifford and Iva Graffius Clark.
Mr. Clark was Christian by faith. He was a member of the Lincoln Club, Hawk Run. Mr. Clark worked for the Al Hamilton Coal Co., Woodland, where he retired as a heavy equipment operator after 25 years of service.
He was married to Mary C. Turner Clark on Feb. 21, 1949 in Winchester, VA. She preceded him in death on Nov. 6, 2012.
Mr. Clark is survived by three sons, Denny Clark and his wife, Bernie of Morrisdale, Donnie Clark and his wife, Sharon of Munson and Jeff Clark and his companion, Jenn of Karthaus; 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Jimmy and a sister, Bonnie Britton. He was the last of his generation.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at the Chapel of the Strange & Weaver Funeral Service, Morrisdale, with the Rev. Brenda K. Leigey officiating. Burial will be in the Allport Cemetery.
Friends will be received from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. Thursday and from 9 a.m. until the hour of services Friday at the funeral home.
