Police Report: DuBois City

An incident of harassment occurred Monday at a residence in the 700 block of West Long Avenue. The victim told police that she and another known female had an argument. During the argument, she claimed that the other female struck her in the face and then left the residence. Charges are currently pending at this time.
On Monday, police were requested to contact a female who lived in the 500 block of Patterson Avenue in relation to her receiving harassing phone calls. The victim told police she’d received a computerized call, and the message for her was very disturbing and obscene. The incident remains under investigation at this time.
An incident of trespassing was reported Monday at a residence in the 700 block of West Long Avenue. The complainant had a roommate who was living with her and who wasn’t on the lease. She wanted her removed from the residence. Police advised the complainant that her roommate had the right to be there, and she would need to complete a civil eviction process if she wanted her roommate to be removed legally. No further action was taken by police.
