Elizabeth A. DeGeorge, 87, Chestnut Street in DuBois died Friday, Nov. 8, 2013 at Christ the King Manor. Born Oct. 5, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Clarence C. Glenn Sr. and Cecelia M. (Morris) Glenn.
She was married to James M. Baker Sr. He preceded her in death April 9, 1967. In 1973, she married Frank A. DeGeorge. He survives.
She worked as a bookkeeper at Jimmy Baker’s Sterling Service for many years. Later, she worked as a licensed practical nurse at the DuBois Hospital.
She was a life member of the St. Catherine of Siena Roman Catholic Church. She loved cats.
She is survived by her two sons, James M. Baker Jr. and his wife, Susanne of DuBois and Thomas M. Baker and his wife, Patricia of Cary, NC; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Clarence C. Glenn Jr.
Private visitation and funeral services will be held Monday at the Goble-Baronick Funeral Home with Msgr. Richard Siefer officiating.
Burial will be in the St. Catherine Cemetery.
