Police Report: Clearfield PSP

No injuries were reported after a two-vehicle accident that occurred Tuesday on the Philipsburg – Bigler Highway in Boggs Township. Further, a 16-year-old Philipsburg boy and Jessica L. Dunlap, 24, of Hawk Run were traveling westbound. At that time, Dunlap slowed for a vehicle turning left, and the boy failed to do the same. He subsequently struck the Dunlap vehicle. Both the boy and Dunlap were wearing their seatbelts at the time of the accident. The boy will be cited for the accident.
An incident of theft/criminal mischief occurred sometime between Sept. 17 and Oct. 17 at an unoccupied residence on Ridge Road in Bigler Township. During the incident, someone removed the heating and air conditioning system, plumbing and appliances from the residence and also caused damaged inside. The total estimate for the stolen and damaged property is $18,785. The incident remains under investigation at this time, and anyone with information is asked to contact state police at Clearfield at 814-857-3800.
