ALTOONA – Penn State Altoona’s Division of Business & Engineering, the Altoona Blair County Development Corp. and the Blair County Chamber of Commerce have announced the fall Gown Meets Town student showcase for Dec. 13, at the Devorris Downtown Center in downtown Altoona.
From 9:30 a.m. – 1:40 p.m., the Blair County business community, parents and friends may stop in as their schedule permits to see how knowledge from the classroom has helped students enhance many Blair County organizations’ operations, products, and services. Students will make presentations in the areas of business, electro-mechanical engineering technology, and security and risk analysis. From 2:30 p.m. – 5 p.m., EMET demonstrations will take place on the Ivyside Park campus.
