Police Report: Clearfield PSP

A two-vehicle accident occurred Friday on the Clearfield – Shawville Highway in Lawrence Township. Andrew C. Coakley, 23, of New Castle was traveling westbound and slowing to make a turn. Kenneth L. Bloom, 45, of Clearfield was traveling behind Coakley and failed to notice his vehicle slowing. Bloom subsequently rear-ended the Coakley vehicle. No injuries were reported as a result of the accident, and all occupants were wearing their seatbelts. Bloom was cited for the accident.
An incident of harassment occurred Monday in Bradford Township. During the incident, a 23-year-old Clarion man sent unwanted text messages to the victim. Charges were filed through the district court.
