William A. Bloom, 77, of Curwensville died Monday, Nov. 4, 2013 at the DuBois Regional Medical Center.
Born Aug. 12, 1936, he was the son of William and Evelyn (Rowles) Bloom. He was Baptist by faith.
Mr. Bloom served honorably with the U.S. Army. He was a member of the Curwensville VFW Robert Ferguson Post No. 842 and the local No. 910 Union of Johnstown since 1957.
He’s survived by two daughters, Lorie Mays and her husband, David and Valerie Neeper and her husband, Brian, both of Curwensville, and four grandchildren, Stephanie and Jenna Neeper and Ricki Lee and Reese Wells.
Mr. Bloom is also survived by a brother, Russell H. Bloom of Bloomington.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Lois Ann Gochnour.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
