Alice H. Rydberg, 85, of Clearfield died Friday, Oct. 25, 2013 at the Clearfield Hospital.
Mrs. Rydberg was born May 22, 1928 in Cooper Township, the daughter of Walter and Lena (Jamison) Heaton Coudriet.
She was a graduate of Cooper High School and the Robert Morris College.
Mrs. Rydberg had worked at Grier Prep School and the Alcoa Corp.
She was a member of the Presbyterian Church of Clearfield.
Mrs. Rydberg is survived by a son, Douglas T. Rydberg of Clearfield and a daughter, Kristi A. Gedeon and her husband, Robert of Murrieta, Calif.; two grandchildren, Katie J. and Justin G. Gedeon; two brothers, Richard Coudriet and his wife, Joyce of Philipsburg and David Coudriet and his wife, Eva Mae of Wallaceton; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, V. Hoover Rydberg, whom she married on June 5, 1960 and whom died Sept. 25, 1982.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, the Clearfield Presbyterian Church, 119 N. Second St., Clearfield with the Rev. J. Robert Mellgard and Mr. Richard Barkley co-officiating. Burial will be in Crown Crest Memorial Park, Hyde.
Friends will be received from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Bennett and Houser Funeral Home Inc. of Clearfield.
