An alcohol-related accident occurred Thursday on the Troy – Hawk Run Highway in Morris Township. Further, a 34-year-old Morrisdale woman failed to negotiate a curve in the roadway, at which point her vehicle exited the right berm and struck a tree. She was found under the influence of alcohol and taken to the Mount Nittany Medical Center by ambulance for medical treatment and a blood test. Charges will be filed pending the results of the blood tests. State police were assisted by the Morris Township Fire Department, Moshannon Valley Emergency Medical Services and the fire police.
