Minor injuries were reported after a two-vehicle accident that occurred Oct. 14 on the Port Matilda Highway in Rush Township. Eric M. Myers, 31, of Philipsburg was following David H. Wright, 53, of Hawk Run, who stopped due to traffic ahead of him. However, Myers failed to bring his vehicle to a stop and rear-ended Wright’s vehicle. Wright complained of some minor back pain. Myers wasn’t injured; he was cited for the accident.
No injuries were reported after a two-vehicle accident that occurred Thursday on the Port Matilda Highway in Rush Township. Gregory A. Hockenberry, 46, of Drifting was carrying an oversized load (shed). He was traveling west at approximately 30 miles per hour with his four-way flashers on. At the time, Richard J. Callahan, 36, of Montoursville failed to observe Hockenberry traveling at a slower speed and rear-ended the left-hand rail of his trailer.
