Police responded to South Fourth Street for a disturbance. Upon arrival police deescalated the incident. One person was transported to another address to stay, while one other person was transported to the Clearfield Hospital to be evaluated for minor injuries.
Police responded to East Market Street for an alleged unruly female. The female was transported to the Clearfield Hospital for a mental evaluation.
Police responded to a domestic disturbance in the East End area. The individuals were separated; there weren’t any charges filed as a result of the incident.
Police responded to an attempted burglary. However, the incident was listed as unfounded.
Police were dispatched to a motor vehicle accident at the Clearfield Hospital. At the scene, an 84-year-old female stated she was attempting to back out of a parking spot when, for some unknown reason, her vehicle would neither stop nor turn. As a result, her vehicle crashed into a guardrail. The woman had an 85-year-old passenger. No injuries were reported, and the vehicle was driven from the scene.
Police received a report about a lost wallet.
Police responded to an alarm at a business along Latimer Street. Police found that an employee had set the alarm off while entering the business.
Police were called to a domestic dispute along East Locust Street. The altercation was verbal in nature.
Police are investigating an alleged theft that occurred at Sheetz along Nichols Street.
Police checked the welfare of a female after she left a bar with an unknown male. She was found to be OK at her residence.
Police received a report about a dog that was left inside a vehicle during the Fall Festival. The owner was located and dog law was advised of the incident.
A lost dog was located and turned into police. The dog was housed in the kennel at the SPCA, at which point its owner came to the police station looking for it. He was advised where his dog was and how to retrieve it.
Police responded to Sheetz for a man who was sleeping in his vehicle. Upon arrival a 36-year-old man was determined to be under the influence. He was taken into custody and released to a relative. Charges are currently pending.
Police were dispatched to the area of West Second Avenue for an erratic driver. Upon police arrival, the suspect vehicle was located at the Clearfield Lanes parking lot, and a 52-year-old man was found to be in possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Charges are currently pending at this time.
An Elizabeth Street resident reported criminal mischief to his vehicle. The suspects were not located, and police will provide extra patrols in that area.
Police responded to a North Fourth Street business for an activated alarm. Police checked the premises, which appeared to be secured.
Police assisted the fire department with an automatic fire alarm along East Market Street.
Police received a report about a juvenile who damaged a fresh concrete sidewalk. Police located the juvenile.
Police reported that a large set of keys was located along Patterson Street and West First Avenue. The keys can be claimed by calling police at 814-765-7819.
Police are investigating a burglary at the West Side United Methodist Church. During the incident, someone entered the church and caused approximately $500 worth of damage and removed cash.
