Everett A. Kyler, 81, of Clearfield and formerly of North Carolina and Philadelphia, died Saturday, Oct. 12, 2013 at the Mountain Laurel Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Clearfield.
He was the son of the late Walter and Frances (Billotte) Kyler born May 7, 1932 in Shawville. He was married to Virginia Kyler, who preceded him in death. He was of the Christian faith.
He was an U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean War. He graduated from the Clearfield High Area School in the class of 1950 and was a retired mechanic.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a son Kenneth Kyler; two sisters, Evon Stradley and Loretta Chincharick; and two brothers: Louis and Rene Kyler.
He is survived by two daughters, Julie Kyler, and Kathy Kyler, both of North Carolina and two sisters, Francine Shipley of Shawville and Rose Rauch of Clearfield.
A memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family. There will be no visitation.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Heath Funeral Home in Osceola Mills.
