TYRONE – Community members are invited to attend a short re-dedication ceremony and the official unveiling of improved walking trails located on the Tyrone Hospital campus. The ceremony will be held at 11 a.m. Oct. 16.
Eagle Scout candidate Aaron Mogle made significant improvements and also repairs to the existing walking trails for his Eagle Scout project. The project included work on the Rev. Dr. Samuel T. Lewis III Meditation Trail and trails that were constructed several years ago through the cooperative efforts of the Tyrone Area School District and Tyrone Hospital, on property that is located between the hospital and school district.
Those who attend the ceremony will have an opportunity to hear about Mogle’s project, the history of the walking trails, learn how the walking trails support Tyrone Hospital’s health and wellness initiative and can also enjoy a short stroll along the trails to see first-hand the many improvements that have been made.
Refreshments will be provided following the ceremony.
