CLEARFIELD – State Rep. Tommy Sankey (R-Clearfield) has invited residents of the 74th Legislative District to a Senior Expo. He will host the expo from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Oct. 18 at the Houtzdale Fire Company, 601 Good St., Houtzdale.
“More than 30 vendors will be on hand for this year’s event, which is a great opportunity for senior citizens and their families to check out the various services available to them,” said Sankey. “My staff and I are looking forward to a great day and spending time with the people in our district.”
A number of different types of health screenings will be performed and free flu shots will be provided by the Clearfield Hospital Home Health Department. For billing purposes, anyone wishing to be vaccinated should be prepared to provide proof of Medicare coverage.
The 74th Legislative District is made up of the following Clearfield County municipalities: the townships of Beccaria, Bell, Bigler, Bloom, Boggs, Bradford, Burnside, Chest, Cooper, Covington, Decatur, Ferguson, Girard, Goshen, Graham, Greenwood, Gulich, Jordan, Karthaus, Knox, Lawrence, Morris, Penn, Pike, Pine and Woodward; and the boroughs of Brisbin, Burnside, Chester Hill, Clearfield, Coalport, Curwensville, Glen Hope, Grampian, Houtzdale, Irvona, Lumber City, Mahaffey, New Washington, Newburg, Osceola Mills, Ramey, Wallaceton and Westover.
