CLEARFIELD – PennDOT advises drivers that Interstate 80 westbound near the Centre-Clinton county line is closed due to an accident. The accident is near mile-marker 168, and traffic is being detoured using Route 64.
Additionally, the left (passing) lane of I-80 eastbound is closed in the same area due to the accident. The right (travel) lane remains open on I-80 eastbound.
Motorists will be alerted to the incident through the use of the Highway Advisory Radio System and Dynamic Message System signs.
PennDOT expects to re-open the westbound lanes and the left eastbound lane by 10:30 p.m.
