Police Report: Ridgway PSP

An incident of furnishing alcohol to minors occurred Sunday along state Route 120 near the SR 219 truck bypass in Ridgway Township. Following a traffic stop, state police found two Ridgway teens had been drinking, and the alcohol had been provided by a 22-year-old Ridgway man. Charges have been filed for the incident through the district court.
An incident of theft occurred sometime between Sept. 14 and Sunday in a wooded area in Fox Township. During the incident, someone removed several car parts from the victim’s 1965 Pontiac Catalina. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the state police at Ridgway at 814-776-6136 or the Elk County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-775-2030.
An incident of retail theft occurred Friday at the Wal-Mart store in Fox Township. During the incident, an 18-year-old Johnsonburg man attempted to remove items without paying for them. The man was caught attempting to do so and has been charged through the district court.
