OSCEOLA MILLS – A 44-year-old Osceola Mills man, David Norman Johnson, was jailed Friday after allegedly having firearms in the area of the Osceola Mills Elementary School, reported the state police at Clearfield.
Johnson was allegedly passed out in the area of the school parking lot. He allegedly had two handguns lying near him. Upon arrival he’d left the area on foot and was located approximately one block away. Johnson had allegedly left five, unloaded handguns in the area of the school and was found in possession of two knives.
Johnson was lodged in the Clearfield County Jail in lieu of $50,000 straight bail. He was arraigned by Magisterial District Judge James Hawkins on charges of persons not to possess, use, manufacture, control, sell or transfer firearms; firearms not to be carried without a license; possession of a weapon on school property; recklessly endangering; and public drunkenness.
