Police responded to a domestic dispute Thursday in Treasure Lake between a 43-year-old woman and her 53-year-old fiancé. The dispute was verbal in nature, and both parties had been drinking. Police handled the situation without incident.
On Thursday police received a report about an abandoned vehicle on Carson Avenue. Police located the owner who agreed to have it removed.

On Thursday Wal-Mart employees reported seeing a 26-year-old Grampian woman under-ringing items in the self-check-out and also unwrapping several DVD’s. The woman denies both incidents, and the investigation continues.
A landlord requested Thursday that the police check one of his properties on Oklahoma Salem Road due to hearing a loud alarm coming from inside. Police found a smoke alarm going off, which the landlord temporarily deactivated. No problems were found.
