Joette R. Williams, 58, of Pottsville died Thursday, Sept. 19, 2013 at the South Schuylkill Medical Center in Pottsville. Born July 6, 1955 in Philipsburg, she was the daughter of the late Leroy Clair Jr. and M. Jean Hoover Williams of Morrisdale.
Ms. Williams was affiliated with the Morrisdale United Methodist Church. She attended Lock Haven University and then graduated from Penn State University for human development. She was employed by the Clearfield-Jefferson County Mental Health. She was a donor for the eye recovery program. Her children and grandchildren were her gold.
Ms. Williams is survived by two daughters, Heather Brock of Auburn and Kelly Dixon of Clearfield; one son, Allen Stacy Prisk of Reading, Calif.; one sister, Susan J. Williams and her companion, Alan of Hermosa, SD; two brothers, Jeffery Williams and his wife, Julia of Morrisdale and Allen L. Williams and his wife, Julia of Indiana; and six grandchildren, Brittany, Jerry, Kali, Robert, Leann and Ashley.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Joseph Brock; her maternal grandparents, Russell and Helen Hoover; and her paternal grandparents, Virginia Pelton and Leroy Williams.
A memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family. There will be no public visitation.
