DuBois – The Curwensville Lady Tide volleyball team raised their record to 3-2 on the season after earning their second sweep on the road in two nights.
The Lady Tide swept Clearfield on Monday night and then swept DuBois Central Catholic on Tuesday night by scores of 25-20, 25-20, and 25-14.
“We played a great game tonight. We were able to work on a few things that have been hurting us on defense”, Lady Tide Head Coach Sandy Bailor noted, “We need to keep working hard because we have a couple of tough weeks ahead of us.”
Melanie Milliron served the winning points in both sets two and three.
Curwensville’s junior varsity team remained undefeated on the season at 4-0 after sweeping the best of three match 25-18, 25-18.
As mentioned, the Lady Tide have a tough road ahead next week, as they travel to Mo Valley on Monday, Brockway on Tuesday, and Ridgway on Thursday.
