Police Report: DuBois City

On Tuesday two individuals who were dressed in black were reportedly walking around homes in the Love Street and Spring Avenue area. Upon arrival they ran from police.
An elderly woman reported Tuesday she believed someone was in her home. Police checked the area and her home but didn’t locate anyone.
A man attempted to enter vehicles parked in the lot in the first block of North Brady Street on Tuesday. The incident remains under investigation.
On Tuesday police recognized a man for whom there was a warrant. He was seen working at an establishment in the first block of North Brady Street and taken into custody.
After receiving a tip Tuesday, police apprehended Fugitive Jeremie Strohl after he was located at a business in the 100 block of North Brady Street.
On Wednesday someone damaged the passenger’s side window of a van while it was parked at a business in the 300 block of West DuBois Avenue. The incident remains under investigation at this time.
