Ruth M. (Bricker) Williams, 91, of Ramey died Thursday, Sept. 5, 2013 at Windy Hill Presbyterian Home, Philipsburg.
Born Dec. 16, 1921 in Glasgow, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Flora (Kuhn) Bricker.
On Aug. 23, 1952 at the United Methodist Church, Altoona, she married William F. Williams, who survives of Ramey.
She was a homemaker and also assisted her husband in managing the family store, Williams Meat Market of Smokerun.
She was a member of the Madera United Methodist Church and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Ramey Fire Co.
She was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother who was a great cook and enjoyed cross-stitch. She will be greatly missed.
She’s survived by two daughters, Nancy and her husband, Alan Fundack and Shelly and her husband, Frank Hudzy, both of Ramey; three sons, Randy Williams and his wife, Valerie of Morrisdale; Harold Kuhn and his wife, Dawn of Southern Shores, NC and Rodger Kuhn of Allmens.
She’s also survived by 11 grandchildren, Ashley and Andrew Fundack; Chelsee Williams; Emily Dickson and her husband, Kevin; Natasha Hudzy; Cheryl Cole and her husband, Charles; Traci Kuhn; Kelly Zazworsky and her husband, Doug; Deann Glass and her husband, Donald; Jackie Johnson and her husband, Craig; Rodger Kuhn and his wife, Paula; 14 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter-in-law, Jane Kuhn; five brothers Robert, Ivan, Paul, Harold and Perry; and five sisters, Vivian Bungo, Marguerite Garman, Mary Spinner, Helen Evans and Edythe B. Garman.
Friends will be received from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and from 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. Sunday and from 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. Monday at the Kruise Funeral Home Inc., Ramey.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Beulah Cemetery in Ramey.
