Marian R. Crawford, 89, of DuBois died Friday, Aug. 30, 2013 at the DuBois Nursing Home.
Born March 30, 1924, she was the daughter of the late DeAlva L. and Ruth (Hodge) Miller.
On April 8, 1948, she married Albert E. Crawford. He preceded her in death March 20, 2013.
She was a homemaker. Prior to that, she worked at Bell Telephone.
She was a member of Lakeside United Methodist Church in DuBois. She enjoyed camping, reading, playing bridge and Bingo. She loved to fly fish with her husband, Al.
She’s survived by her son, James R. Crawford and his wife, Judy of Brockway; a brother, Robert “Bob” Miller and his wife, Mary Lou of DuBois; and two grandchildren, Kristin and Thad Crawford.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Dee Miller and two grandsons, Andrew and Daniel Crawford.
There will be no visitation.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Lakeside United Methodist Church with Pastor Robert Zilhaver officiating.
Memorials may be sent to the charity of the donor’s choice.
